Scuffs
Black scuffs from shoes usually wipe off with a damp cloth or a little pH-neutral cleaner. A tennis ball or melamine sponge can lift stubborn marks.
Light scratches
- Clean the area first to see the true damage
- Use a manufacturer-approved vinyl repair product
- Avoid abrasive pads that dull the surrounding finish
Deeper damage
For a deep gouge, replacing a single plank is often possible — especially with click-lock or if you kept spare boards from the install.
